INEOS O&P Europe's’manufacturing plant at Lillo in Belgium is located on a 45-hectare
site in the port of Antwerp, 23 kilometres north of the city center. Polymers production
began in 1992 with the manufacture of polypropylene and high-density polyethylene.
The polypropylene unit at Lillo is dedicated to the production of speciality PP
materials, particularly heat-seal resins for which INEOS is a world leader. The
ongoing evolution of the product mix is towards more sophisticated products and
capacity grown.
The HDPE plant in Lillo has a total capacity of 440,000 tons per year on two production
lines. Product applications include pressure pipe, automotive fuel tanks and blow
molding.
With about 170 people on the site, INEOS O&P Europe is applying the highest standards
for health, safety and the environment.
