INEOS Polyolefins offers a new generation of HDPE grades for beverage caps, Eltex®
SuperstressTM, combining excellent processing, high standard organoleptics and exceptional
stress crack resistance especially designed for more demanding caps applications
with a significant down–gauging potential. These high performing HDPE grades, produced
into Ineos Polyolefins proprietary leading edge processes represent a real breakthrough
fulfilling the most stringent caps requirement.
Organolepticity is not longer reserved to HDPE caps grades only. INEOS Polyolefins
developed a transparent PP random copolymer with excellent organoleptic properties
for caps & closures in direct contact with still beverages : Eltex®P CAP912.
Thanks to its high transparency, surface aspect quality and high hinge resistance
on top of a good balance between impact, stiffness and processing, this new grade
will open the door to new innovative caps designs.
