1. CAR FUEL TANK (CFT)
The market of car fuel tanks is turning completely to polyethylene which gives many
advantages. One of the major one is the possibility to mold complex shapes
which fit perfectly in the car structure and bodywork.. Such resins need to combine
various properties such as a good flowability and impact strength at low
temperature.
The fulllfilment of the latest regulations on emission is met by the use of polythylene
n combination with specific surface treatment or by use of the coextrusion process.

2. PIPES (including Fitting injections, resins for PEX applications and Steel
Pipe Coating)
Nowadays in Europe, drinking water and gas networks are mainly made of polyethylene.
Main types of polyethylene used are the so-called PE80 and PE100 grades classified
according to EN and ISO standards for transport of drinking water and gas under
pressure.
More recently, new challenges rise in this market. New installation techniques
are used and engineering as well as gas and water companies are increasing their requirements.

3. ROTOMOULDING

4. SHOTGUN CARTRIDGE
Extrusion and stretching are the two key steps of the shotgun cartridge industry.
A fit for purpose resin for this application must demonstrate a good flowability
and a high melt strength to provide the highest procudtion speed and draw ratio.

5. WIRE and CABLE (W&C)
The Wire and Cable industry is a very general term for a market requiring very different
and specific properties. Telecom, low voltage or high voltage business have
their own technical needs. Processability is one common requirement but other
properties will be key to each one.
